On the hunt for breweries to check out in the Twin Cities? Minnesota has a great brewery scene and there’s plenty to choose from. Here’s a list of some great spots that I recommend trying out. My favorite beers are sours and stouts, and these breweries consistently deliver the flavorful brews I crave.

Forgotten Star Brewing Co.

38 Northern Stacks Dr, Fridley, MN 55421

This brewery has a variety of beers and tends to switch them up often. They have different events throughout the year so be sure to check their website. It’s also a dog-friendly brewery so bring your furry friend along.

Surly Brewing Co.

520 Malcolm Ave SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414

Surly is a well-known brewery in the Twin Cities and has plenty of seating. There are tons of beers to choose from.

Pryes Brewing Company

1401 West River Rd N, Minneapolis, MN 55411

Pryes is another brewery with great beers. Their Royal Raspberry sour ale is one of my favorites. Highly recommend!

Bear Cave Brewing

1201 Mainstreet, Hopkins, MN 55343

My husband and I really love Bear Cave. They have pour your own beer stations so you can try as many as you want without getting an entire glass. Also, their pizzas are delicious!

Wooden Hill Brewing Company

7421 Bush Lake Rd, Edina, MN 55439

Wooden Hill has a great selection of beers and good food too. Highly recommend getting their burger.

Enjoy sipping on beers at these breweries in the Twin Cities!
